Works with the Official Raspberry Pi 7" display
The SmartiPi Touch Pro is a case for the Official 7" Raspberry Pi display manufactured by the Raspberry Pi foundation and the Raspberry Pi B+,2B,3B,3A+,3B+, and 4. One power input in the back powers both the Raspberry Pi and the Official Pi display, creating a small all in one computer. There is even a spot for the Official Raspberry Pi camera V1 or V2. Not compatible with Raspberry Pi HQ camera.
- USB-C power supply required if using Raspberry Pi 4. Micro USB power supply required if using the Raspberry Pi B+,2B,3B,3A+,3B+
- The Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi camera, and Raspberry Pi display are not included and must be purchased separately.
- Once assembled, the SD card, HDMI port, and audio jack are not accessible from outside the case. You can plug in a HDMI or audio cable into the Raspberry Pi inside the case and then run the wire outside the case.
The case has plenty of room inside for your own electronics or other components
The case has 45mm of clearance above the surface of the Raspberry Pi. The extra room inside this case allows you to experiment with different HAT boards or add you own hard drive, batteries, or other PCB boards inside the case. Plenty of room to experiment with your own electronics inside. The case is made out of ABS plastic , so you cut or drill it to run wires or add other connectors.

Extra room inside for your own customization
Mount the Raspberry Pi inside to hide USB cablesThere are two 49mm x 58mm ,M2.5 mounting points inside the case. The Raspberry Pi can be mounted to either mounting point. When mounted internally, USB cables/peripherals could be hidden inside the case. |
Mount the Raspberry at the edge to access portsWhen the Raspberry Pi is mounted at the side of the case, the ports are accessible on the side. Then HAT boards or your own PCB can be mounted to the other 49mm x 58mm , M2.5 mounting points. You would need to connect the boards together with ribbon cables or leads.Once assembled, the SD card, HDMI port, and audio jack are not accessible from outside the case. You can plug in a HDMI or audio cable into the Raspberry Pi inside the case and then run the wire outside the case. |
HAT boards can be stacked on top of the PiHAT boards can be stacked on top of the Raspberry Pi . You will need to provide M2.5 screws to secure it to the standoffs. The standoffs to secure the Pi to the case are included with the display. |
